Ross Round Equipment
Ross Round equipment is used to produce 4 1/4" discs of comb honey 1 1/2" thick. Plastic rings are inserted into the half frames (4 rings/half frame). A sheet of foundation is inserted and the two halves are snapped together. 8 frames are placed in a super. Once the frame is filled and capped, the frame is split into its two halves and the discs of comb honey are removed. Two plastic covers are placed on the disc and sealed with a label.
(64 rings 64 covers, 1 roll labels, 1 super, 8 frames, 8 sheets of WF0200)
Alumimun tray with plastic dome lid for cut comb honey.
The Bee-O-Pac system consists of eight Bee-O-Pac frames that fit directly into a standard 6 5/8 honey super. These frames are assembled from two nearly identical frame halves. These are snapped together to make one complete frame. Place eight assembled frames into the super as with standard frames. Once the bees fill the Bee-O-Pac frames, they are removed from the hive, the individual sections are removed, the lid and label are put on and it is packaged ready for sale.
