F.W. Jones is truly the Canadian pioneer in the field of bee supplies.
In June 1878, two men were moving hay by hand, when overhead a wandering swarm of bees came by looking for a place to cluster. One of these men was Frank W. Jones, who followed the swarm to their cluster on a nearby tree, cut off the branch and carried it home to a makeshift hive.
Briefly, the above incident was the beginning of Frank Jones' connection with beekeeping. From making his own beehives and frames to making them for neighbors, F.W. Jones & Son Ltd. grew to meet the needs of the beekeeping community.
Today, Jones' is the largest producer of Bee Supplies in Canada and exports all over the world. With a sales office in Toronto, the reputation of the company is firmly established.
